Elegoo has unveiled the new Elegoo SatelLite LCD slicer at Formnext 2024, expanding its range of 3D printing solutions. The software offers an all-in-one platform for model editing, slicing and device management that is aimed at both beginners and experienced users. Elegoo thus aims to make the workflow for resin 3D printing more efficient and user-friendly.
A central feature of the slicer is the EVO support system, which suggests optimized support structures based on algorithms. This feature is designed to minimize printing errors and allows users to prioritize between speed and precision.
Although SatelLite is specifically optimized for Elegoo printers, the software also supports devices from other manufacturers. Other features include an extensive material library with pre-built print profiles and cloud-based options, a user-friendly interface with a customizable toolbar and automatic model repair tools.
In addition, the slicer integrates advanced technologies such as node-based slicing, which optimizes the entire printing process, and provides users with step-by-step instructions. With these features, Elegoo appeals to both hobbyists and professional users who are looking for an efficient solution for resin printing.
Elegoo plans to release SatelLite by the end of 2024, with a Mac version to follow in the first quarter of 2025.
