ENCY Software recently introduced a new CAD/CAM/OLP system called ENCY, which is set to fundamentally change manufacturing processes in the industry. The platform aims to significantly improve collaboration between software providers, robot integrators, programmers and machine operators.
At the heart of the ENCY product portfolio is the new-generation CAD/CAM system of the same name. It combines advanced CAM technology with an intuitive user interface to optimise the workflow. In addition, ENCY Robot offers a complete solution for offline robot programming. This integrates tool path calculation, kinematics management and robot simulation in a single tool.
ENCY Software has developed the ENCY Tuner for use in the workshop. This G-code simulator and NC programme editor enables G-code simulation, fine-tuning and re-engineering for CNC machines and industrial robots directly on site. To facilitate collaboration, ENCY Clouds completes the offering as a cloud-based collaboration platform. CAM programmers, machine operators and other project participants can work together efficiently here.
Andrei Kharatsidi, CEO of ENCY Software, explains the motivation behind the development: ‘Outdated CAD/CAM software no longer fulfils the requirements of modern production. With ENCY Tuner, you can easily import, simulate and verify legacy G-code. If necessary, you can remove unwanted segments of the legacy G-code and replace them with native ENCY operations.’
ENCY Software pays particular attention to improving communication and data exchange. To this end, ENCY Clouds integrates an online chat and a project library directly into the software. This is intended to simplify the exchange of information and reduce the need for emails, cloud drives or manual file transfers.
The ENCY platform is aimed at technically savvy users in the manufacturing industry. It aims to simplify the programming of CNC machines and robots while promoting collaboration between different departments.
To further increase productivity, ENCY Software has integrated an AI assistant into the collaboration chat. This function could be of particular interest to companies looking to optimise their manufacturing processes in line with Industry 4.0.
