Entirely 3D Printed Top by Designer Charbel Feghaly

Charbel Feghaly, student at one of the leading fashion design schools in the Arab region, has created a dress featuring a 3D printed top for his final year project.

To help him model and manufacture the piece, he approached Formidable Industries, who’s Indian partner and 3D printing design factory df3d made Charbel’s vision come to life. The top was manufactured in one piece, using SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology. Its design had prior been optimised for minimal material usage while maintaining maximum movement of the interlocking parts.
