EOS Will Showcase at formnext powered by TCT instead of EuroMold

Back in November 2014, the exhibition corporation Frankfurt and EuroMold show have announced they will discontinue their longstanding cooperation moving forward. As a consequence, manufacturer of industrial 3D printing systems, EOS, decided to showcase its additive manufacturing solution portfolio at the formnext powered by TCT show.

Dr. Adrian Keppler, head of sales and marketing (CMO) at EOS explains the company’s decision: “Our goal was to make a well-educated decision for the future of our company and for our industry. We are currently operating in a fascinating market growth environment and see great market potentials ahead for the entire industry. After a thorough analysis of all possible alternatives, we feel that formnext has the biggest potential to become the long-term global AM lead show of the future, as such offering the best platform we can currently think of to support further extensive market development of the entire AM industry.” He adds:“We look forward to meeting all relevant AM players at this show in Frankfurt.”

The organizer of formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH and the organizer of TCT Show + Personalize, Rapid News Publications Ltd, have agreed on a long-term strategic partnership. The trade show for tool making and additive technologies/3D printing taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from 24. – 27. November, 2015 will be substantially strengthened by this. This fact is underlined by the new brand of “formnext powered by TCT”.

“This partnership offers additional strength to the formnext concept, creating a very attractive, international and long-lasting trade show concept,” said Johann Thoma, CEO of Mesago Messe Frankfurt. “The benefits to the additive technologies/3D printing sector are most obvious, but the tool making sector stands to gain from the innovative partnership.”

The conference program will not only focus on additive technologies/3D printing, but will also follow the trends and latest insights on the area of tool making. Johann Thoma concludes: “The combination of a substantial exhibition and an expansion of the well-respected TCT conference series will make formnext powered by TCT the place to be for additive technologies/ 3D printing and tool making. Knowledge meets expertise, expertise meets customers. A platform that can be a benefit for everyone involved.
