Following their partnership with Elite Dangerous, 3D printing company EUCL3D has teamed up with SimplePlanes to offer users the option to create full-colour 3D printed models right within game play.
Simples Planes is a platform to build and share airplane designs. The easy to use 3D airplane designer allows you to build models by snapping parts together, designing wing sections and attaching engines. You can even strap yourself into the cockpit and see how it flies with realistic physics. There are currently also over 100,000 airplanes models available for free download.
Through their partnership with EUCL3D you can now order the model to be 3D printed in full colour sandstone. Check out the video below to see how it works:
