With the E1, Eufymake, a brand of electronics manufacturer Anker, is presenting a new device for UV printing. The desktop printer should not only be able to produce two-dimensional color graphics, but also 3D textures up to five millimeters high – on a wide variety of materials. The E1 combines classic UV printing with height structuring, which should be particularly interesting for individualized applications such as product finishing or advertising materials.
The printer processes common materials such as wood, metal, glass, leather or acrylic. An optional rotation device is available for cylindrical objects, such as thermo mugs or drinking glasses, which automatically rotates the object during printing. A laminating machine, which is also available separately, also enables direct-to-film applications for stickers or flexible substrates.
Technically, the printer combines a camera and laser system to precisely capture the object geometry. The supplied “Eufymake Designerstudio” software automatically adjusts the print motif. It is available for Windows and macOS. Alternatively, the Eufymake app can be used on mobile devices, which supports your own designs as well as a growing online database with over 50,000 design templates.
The printing system uses six ink cartridges, which are automatically flushed by the device to prevent blockages. According to the manufacturer, printing on a typical 0.7 liter thermo mug takes around 39 minutes. The amount of ink required depends on the size of the motif and the material.
Pre-orders for the E1 are possible on the Eufymake website until April 28, 2025 for a deposit of 45 euros. A Kickstarter campaign will then be launched, where early supporters can purchase the printer from 1,500 US dollars (around 1,320 euros) including cartridges. Delivery is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
Eufymake is a brand of Anker and was previously known as AnkerMake. The company has also previously presented a 3D printer.
