Swiss company Exentis Group AG showcased its additive manufacturing technology to an international expert audience at the AMUG Conference 2025 in Chicago in early April. The event is considered one of the most important gatherings for industrial additive manufacturing in North America, providing a platform for users, developers, and solution providers to exchange insights on new processes, materials, and applications.

Exentis pursues a hybrid approach with its technology platform, specifically targeting industrial-scale production using additive methods. The company relies on material extrusion-based processes that enable high structural resolution and compatibility with a wide range of materials. According to Exentis, the technology allows for the production of ultra-fine structures that have previously been uneconomical with conventional additive or subtractive manufacturing methods.

Gürsel Demircali, Chief Commercial Officer of Exentis Group AG, stated: “The conference was a complete success for Exentis. We were able to meet many of our existing customers in one place and exchange ideas about ongoing projects. In addition, we gained numerous new clients who will initiate development projects with us. Overall, the customer response was overwhelmingly positive.”

In addition to discussions with existing clients, Exentis reports that it was able to initiate several new project partnerships, particularly in the areas of application-driven development and the transition to series production. With over 1,200 attendees, the AMUG Conference provided an ideal venue to present Exentis’ technology in an international context and to engage with current market requirements. The company’s participation underlines its objective to position additive manufacturing as a viable production solution for highly specialized industrial sectors.
