Fabit enables customized trophies in just a few clicks

Antwerp-based 3D design and production company Fabit – formerly known as 3D Trophy Factory – creates premium 3D awards and business gifts for leading esports and gaming brands like Riot Games, ESL Gaming, EA Games, and Nintendo. Today, the company is making its proprietary 3D technology available to aspiring 3D designers all over the world by launching a new and improved version of its e-commerce platform – including a user-friendly interface that allows users to design, customize, visualize and order their own 3D products in no time.

“With the new Fabit e-commerce platform, anyone can design and customize a 3D-printed trophy in just five minutes,” comments Charlotte Nys, Director at Fabit.

Pick, customize, order

The 3D configurator on the Fabit e-commerce platform runs on software developed by mother company Twikit, the world’s leading on-demand end-to-end product personalization platform. The technology allows users to create custom products and have them manufactured on demand, quickly and at large scale through ready-made templates and cutting-edge digital production technologies.

“Users can just pick a template, customize it, and order,” says Charlotte Nys, Director at Fabit. “The digital files are automatically transferred to Fabit manufacturing centers to ensure high-quality production and short delivery times. This new setup offers amazing opportunities for the creation of custom 3D pieces by making the process fun and accessible to all.”

New templates every month

The updated Fabit e-commerce platform offers more than twenty 3D templates, including the company’s signature trophy designs and a number of new products. The gallery will be updated regularly, says Nys. “The shop will be restocked with tweakable designs every month to allow unlimited customization possibilities.” Apart from that, Fabit is working on extending the platform’s functionalities to cater to professional 3D designers. “The next step is that designers from all over the world will be able to upload their own designs and templates onto the platform, and users will have their products printed locally.”

A full range of 3D services

The new platform complements Fabit’s bespoke 3D design and production services, in which the company uses 3D printing and other digital technologies to design and produce high-quality awards and promotional gifts.

“By expanding our offering with the renewed ‘DIY’ 3D platform, we now offer a full range of options that cater to every budget, timing and type of consumer. It’s all part of our mission to make good designs available to everyone – and to fight the ordinary, one 3D design at a time.”
