Farsoon Europe has opened its new Innovation Center in Sindelfingen (Industriestraße 5/1), establishing a permanent headquarters for its European activities. The facility serves as a development and validation environment for industrial additive manufacturing, with the goal of guiding customers from the prototyping stage into robust series production. The focus is on practical tests under production conditions, aligned material and process approvals, and joint programs with industry partners.
The center integrates Farsoon’s large-format AM systems into a local ecosystem of OEMs, suppliers, and research institutions. Companies will be able to define process windows, capture quality-relevant metrics along real manufacturing workflows, and assess the scalability of both digital and physical supply chains. Another priority is building regional value chains to reduce dependencies and shorten response times in service and spare-parts supply. For the industrialization of additive components, Farsoon provides infrastructure for design-for-AM reviews, machine and material characterization, and data connectivity to existing MES/QMS environments.
“The Sindelfingen Innovation Center marks an important milestone in Farsoon’s European journey,” said Oliver Huizhi Li, Managing Director, Farsoon Europe GmbH. “It’s where ideas become industrial reality — enabling our customers to move beyond pilots into true series production and long-term competitiveness.”
The site is also intended to help companies limit investment risks by enabling early pilot productions, staged capacity ramp-ups, and robust total-cost-of-ownership assessments on the system.
With the new center, Farsoon Europe positions itself as a partner for AM industrialization in the region. Proximity to industrial users is expected to enable shorter feedback cycles, faster technical support, and deeper collaboration—with the shared goal of transferring additive concepts into certified series production and scaling growth efficiently.
