FIT Additive Manufacturing Group is again awarded as one of the most successful SMEs in Bavaria (Germany)

German 3D printing specialist FIT Additive Manufacturing Group has been awarded “Bayern’s Best 50” for the second time, a prize recognizing the 50 most dynamic owner-managed SMEs in Bavaria. At the award ceremony in Schleissheim Palace near Munich, founder and CEO Carl Fruth, accompanied by CFO Albert Klein, received the coveted award from State Minister Hubert Aiwanger.

Specializing in Additive Manufacturing for more than 20 years, FIT is a pioneer of digitization in the SME sector and was honored for its focused growth strategy and as a major employer in the region. Carl Fruth’s entrepreneurship is defined by his creative spirit, foresight, and determination, based on a clear perception of disruptive technologies and their potential to radical innovation for many industries.

“From the very beginning, we have been a pioneer in terms of innovation. We don’t just want to be up-to-date, but always a step ahead, that’s why we continually strive for even better solutions”, explains Carl Fruth. “Radical innovation, to us, doesn’t mean to make something existing a bit faster or a bit cheaper – no; we define requirements in a totally new way. This prize, “Bavaria’s Best 50″, is thus a great acknowledgment of our endeavors and encourages us to powerfully pursue our strategy of solutions beyond the well-known territory.”
