Formlabs and Henry Schein cooperate in the field of digital dentistry

Formlabs and Henry Schein have announced a strategic partnership that will make Henry Schein the preferred distributor for Formlabs dental 3D printing solutions in North America. This includes the Form 4B and Form 4BL 3D printers, post-processing solutions, various dental resins and Open Material Mode (OMM), which enables the use of third-party photopolymers. The collaboration is intended to make it easier for dental practices and laboratories to access modern digital production technologies.

With the introduction of the Form 4B and Form 4BL, Formlabs is focusing on advanced Masked Stereolithography (MSLA) technologies that combine high printing speed with precise detail. According to the manufacturer, the Form 4B can produce eleven dental models in nine minutes, while the Form 4BL, with its 2.7 times larger build area, enables high-volume production of up to 120 orthodontic models per hour.

From now on, all Formlabs dental products in the USA and Canada will be offered through distribution partners such as Henry Schein. While the purchasing process will be transitioned to the partners, technical support will remain with Formlabs. The company also offers comprehensive service plans and technical consulting for dental practices and labs to facilitate the transition to digital production.
