From November 1, 2024, Formnext, the established trade fair for additive manufacturing (AM) and advanced production, will be managed by a dual leadership team. Christoph Stüker will take over the management together with Sascha Wenzler. Both have been part of the team since Formnext was founded in 2015 and have actively supported the development of the event.
“I have been able to accompany and help shape Formnext since its inception. In my new role, I look forward to continuing this work together with Sascha Wenzler and a great team in order to continue offering an outstanding platform for our customers and the entire community in the future,” explains Christoph Stüker, Deputy Vice President Formnext until October 31, 2024.
Since its premiere, Formnext has continued to develop and expand its offering. In addition to a steadily growing exhibition area, special supporting programs, special shows and an expanded conference format have been introduced. As a result, the trade fair has become an important hub for the AM industry, promoting innovative projects throughout the year that go beyond the traditional trade fair events.
The changes and rapid growth of the AM industry require continuous adaptation of trade fair concepts.
“The associated challenges can be mastered even better with dual leadership, and I am delighted to have the ideal partner at my side in Christoph Stüker,” explains Sascha Wenzler, who has headed Formnext as Vice President Mesago Messe Frankfurt since 2015. “Christoph has been with Formnext since the very beginning. This makes him the perfect person to provide the necessary support for the further development of Formnext. Together with our strong team, we are taking the path together to meet the ever-growing AM industry.”
Formnext thus remains ideally equipped to respond to the needs of the dynamic AM industry and consolidate its position as a leading platform for innovation and exchange.
