Formnext + PM South China postponed

The organisers of Formnext + PM South China made the decision today to defer the fair in view of the current circumstances regarding the pandemic in Shenzhen. The fair was originally scheduled to take place from 14 – 16 September at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. New dates for the exhibition will be announced at the earliest opportunity.

The decision to postpone the fair was made based on the evolving situation of the pandemic and with concern for the health and safety of participants. It was also deemed better to host the event at a later date to give all parties concerned the confidence that Formnext + PM South China will go ahead with minimal disruption. With key supporters and exhibitors voicing their support for the postponement, the organisers are now turning their attention towards confirming a new timeslot for the fair.

Jointly organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt and Uniris Exhibition Shanghai Co Ltd, Formnext + PM South China is a leading event for manufacturing in China, covering advanced technology and equipment categories including additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy and advanced ceramics-related materials, designs, software and processing technologies. The 2021 edition attracted 199 renowned brands showcasing their latest products and solutions and 9,330 visitors to participate. Additionally, a series of concurrent events were held with industry experts present to exchange ideas and introduce new technologies.
