FreeFORM to Expand Offering with Tritone Dominant Additive Manufacturing System

Tritone Technologies, a global provider of metal and ceramic additive manufacturing (AM) technology for industrial production, announced that FreeFORM Technologies of St. Marys, Pennsylvania, will expand its offerings with a Tritone Dominant Additive Manufacturing System. Tritone’s powder-free Dominant and MoldJet technology will enable FreeFORM to rapidly expand material and geometry offerings for its diverse customer base.

This partnership strengthens Tritone’s presence in North America, following the company’s recent opening of a U.S. office. FreeFORM, based in St. Marys, has an experienced leadership team in MIM, powder metallurgy, applications and automation. This will allow FreeFORM to offer MoldJet to its customers, expand its customer base and grow MoldJet in the NA region.

“We have followed Tritone with great interest since we first saw their technology at Formnext 2019”, says Nate Higgins, President, FreeFORM. “Their approach is unique and addresses some points that we think are important to expand portfolio reach. At FreeFORM our aim is to solve problems. Part of it is have great partnerships. We look forward to working with Tritone and using their unique technology with our customers.”

The Dominant system is based on Tritone’s MoldJet technology, a novel powder-free AM system that enables industrial production of high-quality metal and ceramic parts. It is designed to produce high volumes of parts with high density, complex geometries and a variety of materials, and enables parallel production of parts of different sizes, shapes and applications.

“FreeFORM is a true pioneer in the Sinter Based Additive Manufacturing community and we are thrilled to welcome them to the growing Tritone North America family of service providers,” adds Ben Arnold, VP Business Development, NA, Tritone Technologies. “Our strategy is to grow our presence in the region by making sure all prospects have easy access to our technology on a service basis and this is an important step in that direction.”
