Fujifilm makes a surprising entrance into the 3D printing market by providing critical service and technical support for 3D printers.
While Kodak has recently joined other companies that have partnered with 3D printing startup Carbon 3D, Fujifilm now offers their experience and skills by providing technical support for 3D printers through their branch in the US. The company has provided support services for photo-imaging and printing systems for over 30 years: “Our technicians have significant experience in and knowledge of the mechanics and methods used to control diverse printing processes, including expertise in x, y, and z axis controlled devices, such as 3D printers. And, our in-depth understanding of the importance of printing in many organizations enables us to provide best practices coaching and training for printer operators across a wide range of industries.”
Through their 500 expert service technicians across the United States, Fujifilm will offer installation and set up of 3D system elements, customisable service agreements, on demand maintenance services, service performance reviews as well as training.
