German RepRap Announces X350 3D Printer with Rectangular Build Platform

German RepRap announces the launch of the new X350 3D printer. With the X350 German RepRap remains to its pioneering roots in providing cutting-edge technology 3D printers, developed and designed to meet the needs of industrial users and demanding consumers.

There is no 3D printer available with a more optimized print space compared to its size. The rectangular build platform allows better utilisation of the print area since most print models don’t have a square foot print. A highlight of this device is the integrated web interface that allows the operation via WLAN or LAN through a standard web browser. The X350 provides excellent 3D printing with the easy to use all-in-one software Simplify3D and pre-defined printing profiles. The 3-point mounted print bed allows a tool-free calibration that reduces the setup time down to a few minutes. German RepRap managing director Thomas Liratsch explains the strategy behind the new development: “The X350 closes the gap between the NEO and the X400. It offers the best usage of the print area due to the rectangular print bed.” It also abides by the premise of a high-quality product “Made in Germany”: The X350 is being fully assembled in Germany and based on a robust metal frame to satisfy the requirements of commercial users.

The introductory price of 2499.00 Euro incl. VAT/GST is valid for orders before the 30 June 2015.

The German RepRap X350 will have its debut in public at the Rapid Fair, which will be held at Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, CA, May 18 – 21, 2015. German RepRap, booth #954.
