German RepRap Launches X350pro 3D Printer

Following the launch of their X350 3D printer earlier this year, German RepRap now releases the pro-version of the device with its rectangular build platform of 350 x 250 mm.

X350pro’s enhanced features include a more stable and solid metal frame, a dual extruder as well as an USB interface. The printer’s basic structure has been revised from the ground up for the pro version, including stronger housing and increased 12 mm diameter shafts to prevent any vibration.

The X350pro 3D printer is equipped with the DD3 dual extruder. Its full metal hot end can process a number of high performance materials and allows for 3D printing of objects with two different filaments. The redesigned build platform is positioned horizontally in a frame and directly on the silicon foam heat insulation, while the three-point fixture ensures fast and straightforward calibration.

Visitors of the formnext trade show, taking place in Frankfurt next week, can stop by the German RepRap booth to take a first look at the X350pro 3D printer.
