German RepRap Releases X150 3D Printer

German RepRap launches the compact desktop 3D printer X150 for industrial applications, based on their successful NEO model.

The X150 features a stable metal frame and a new build plate along with high-quality drives and shafts to 3D print objects with a maximum build volume of 150 x 150 x 150 mm. The cooling system at the bottom of the extruder reduces warping, resulting in better overhang structures. Moreover, the extruder has been re-engineered and allows for a better flow of material to ensure precise and detailed printing quality.

The new device comes with several different build plates, so users are able to apply the corresponding surface for their prints. While it can be connected through USB, the optional Printbox allows for the device to be integrated into the company’s network via WIFI.
