HeyGears introduces UltraCraft Reflex RS Turbo with improved precision and durability

HeyGears has introduced the UltraCraft Reflex RS Turbo, a revised version of its established Reflex RS 3D printer. The new model variant is aimed at professional users who place particular value on dimensional accuracy, attention to detail and a robust system architecture in addition to high printing speeds. The technical modifications focus on an optimized exposure unit and a more precise Z-axis module.

A key feature of the RS Turbo version is the so-called Enhanced Amber Screen technology. According to the manufacturer, the revised display achieves a contrast ratio of 566:1 and reduces unwanted light scattering in the printing process. This leads to more uniform layer exposures and improved edge definition of the components. In combination with a newly developed polarization layer, the thermal resistance of the screen is also increased, which should have a positive effect on its service life. Internal laboratory tests with water-washable PAWW20 resin speak of over one million resilient layers.

In addition, the C5 degree Z-axis module uses a precision-manufactured guide system that limits positioning errors to ±2 µm. The motion control is based on the company’s own “Dynamic Motion 3.0” algorithm generation, which, according to internal comparative tests, can increase printing speeds by up to 33 percent – depending on the geometry and material used.

With the RS Turbo, HeyGears is building on the Reflex series, which is primarily used in small series production, model making and dental prototype development. The launch of the new system coincides with the company’s tenth anniversary. As part of this, temporary discount campaigns and package offers are available via the official online store.
