Hyper3D: Chinese AI 3D model platform secures millions in Series A round funding

Chinese start-up Deemos Technology has closed a successful financing round with its AI solution Hyper3D. The round was led by Meituan DragonBall and ByteDance, while existing investors such as Sequoia China Seed Fund and MiraclePlus also contributed. According to Guangyuan Capital, which acted as exclusive financial advisor, the company will use the funds to advance the development of its AI models for 3D model creation and accelerate the commercial expansion of its Hyper3D product line on a global scale.

According to media reports, the company is already enjoying great success with its Rodin AI model. Within 45 days of the product’s launch, annual recurring revenue (ARR) of USD 1 million was achieved. In addition, commercial orders worth several million dollars were acquired in a short space of time. Application areas include industries such as gaming, e-commerce, spatial computing, 3D printing and film production.

The company was founded at ShanghaiTech University in 2020. Deemos has already worked with international players such as Amazon, ByteDance, Unity and Bambu Global.

The tool itself creates 3D models from text input, which are then available in various formats. Hyper3D.ai can be tested free of charge for 7 days. The paid packages start at a price of 24 US dollars per month.
