i.materialise Launches New Finish for 3D Printed Steel: Unpolished Black

With the introduction of their new “Unpolished Black” finish, i.materialise now offers a total of seven different finishes for 3D printed steel items.

Models are 3D printed from bronze infused steel powder. “Steel is the cheapest form of metal printing, very strong and suitable for especially large objects. Unpolished Black steel is darker and rougher than the polished version.”

Additionally, i.materialise offers the following finishes for 3D printed steel items: Unpolished Natural, Polished Natural, Polished Black, Unpolished Gold Plated, Polished Gold Plated, Polished Brown.

Moreover, customers ordering 3D printed steel objects will now also profit from an average price reduction of 16%, as i.materialise has just lowered their prices for this service.
