INDO-MIM, a leading metal injection molding (MIM) provider in India, is expanding its collaboration with HP 3D Printing by investing in five more HP Metal Jet S100 printing systems.
INDO-MIM commissioned the first three Metal Jet S100 printers in early 2024 and has been able to realize a variety of applications with them. In addition to in-house toolmaking, the company uses the technology for various OEMs in different industries. Due to the positive experience and growing demand, production is now being significantly expanded.
INDO-MIM intends to further increase its capacities with the new systems. The HP Metal Jet S100 enables series production with quantities of 5,000 to 50,000 components per year, depending on the size of the components. The company currently operates four binder jet printers in Bangalore, India, and three more in San Antonio, Texas.
INDO-MIM has been an important partner for the development of binder jetting applications for many years. In addition to HP, the company has worked with Desktop Metal and ExOne to explore new materials and applications.
