The South Korean manufacturer of 3D printers, InssTek, teams up with French material specialist Z3DLAB for aeronautic and medical applications.
With the Direct Metal Tooling (DMT) process machines from InssTek companies are able to repair industrial parts. Even F-15K fighter jets from the South Korean army are repaired with DMT.
In a press release the companies announced that they will work together to use the ZTi-Powder and ZTi-Med materials from Z3DLAB with the DMT technology. These materials are developed for aeronautical and medical applications. Parts repaired with these materials will have a 30% higher lifespan than parts repaired with TA6V.
