Intel Unveils RealSense 3D Camera for Smartphones

At the Intel Developer Forum in Shenzhen the company’s CEO Brian Krzanich unveiled their RealSense 3D camera built into a 6-inch smartphone prototype. 

The new model is only half the size of the original version and was developed in cooperation with a unknown Chinese company. Intel’s RealSense Technology has already been integrated into a series of tablets, laptops and desktops such as Acer, Lenovo and Dell.

Availability and detailed specifications have not been disclosed so far.
