Keynote Speakers for Inside 3D Printing Santa Clara Announced

MecklerMedia Corporation announced that Scott Summit, Design Director, 3D Systems; Benjamin Schrauwen, Director, Spark Platform and Products, Autodesk; and Richard Garrity, VP & General Manager, Vertical Solutions, Stratasys; have been confirmed as the first three keynote speakers for the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo, taking place October 20-22, 2015 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

MecklerMedia has launched “3D Printing Tracks within Inside 3D Printing,” a new format for the Inside 3D Printing agenda that allows attendees to customize their experience. The new structure offers focused content tracks with in-depth analysis and takeaways covering 3D printing applications in art, business, manufacturing, medicine, metal, scanners, and more. Attendees can purchase track passes for access to specific content verticals, or can purchase Gold or Silver Passports for access to all sessions.

The agenda has been programmed by Hod Lipson, Professor, Columbia University in New York City.

Inside 3D Printing Santa Clara will also feature a full day of tutorials, a startup competition, an in-depth consulting dinner hosted by Terry Wohlers, and the Virtual Reality Summit. The Virtual Reality Summit takes place on October 21 and will provide insight into VR technology, applications, and business development models.

MecklerMedia also announced a partnership with Asimov Ventures, a leading early-stage technology venture capital firm, for the Inside 3D Printing Startup Competition, taking place on October 22. The Inside 3D Printing Startup Competition features presentations from 5-10 startups covering an array of offerings from services to equipment to medical applications. Previous competition winners include: 3D Hubs (NY 2014); Wiivv Wearables (CA 2014); and Osiris Biomedical (NY 2015). Inside 3D Printing Santa Clara is an official 3D Print Week California event. 3D Print Week California takes place on October 19-23, 2015 at a variety of venues throughout San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Additional 3D Print Week California events include the 3D Print Design Show on October 21-22, and the Virtual Reality Summit on October 21.
