AMPlify Expertise is a young company that provides engineering expertise on a temporary basis. Its focus is on plastics technology and additive manufacturing of plastics. The aim is to enable companies to make use of specialist knowledge for a defined period of time without long-term personnel commitments or traditional consulting mandates.
AMPlify Expertise describes the model as “leasing” expertise. Companies book expertise for specific issues or project phases without entering into permanent employment contracts. This positions the startup between traditional consulting and recruitment. The approach targets situations in which specialist knowledge is lacking at short notice, project goals are under pressure, or internal capacities are insufficient.
AMPlify Expertise cites technical questions in plastics engineering or additive manufacturing that remain unresolved internally as use cases. In addition, topics that are not progressing in day-to-day business are to be specifically bridged. Added to this are bottlenecks caused by sick leave, parental leave, or scarce human resources. In such situations, the startup not only offers expertise but, according to its own statements, can also work within the company to put the knowledge directly into practice.
Managing directors Tanja Stiller and Michael Berer point to investment hurdles when building new skills. “Many companies shy away from high investments in new know-how, even though they urgently need it,” they explain. The approach is intended as a “rental model for knowledge” so that smaller companies can also gain access to expertise without having to plan for long-term commitments or internal development.
AMPlify Expertise was founded in Leoben in 2025.
