KraussMaffei presents large-format 3D printing solutions at JEC World 2025

KraussMaffei will be showcasing new technologies for industrial additive manufacturing at JEC World 2025 in Paris. The focus will be on the printCore extruder, which opens up new possibilities in large-format 3D printing with its high output rate and flexible integration into robot-assisted manufacturing systems. The live demonstration at the trade fair stand will illustrate the performance of the technology in combination with industrial robots and highlight its potential for scalable production processes.

Additive manufacturing with the printCore extruder offers advantages for industrial applications that go beyond traditional prototyping. Direct integration into robot and gantry systems allows complex geometries to be realized with high material output. The technology makes it possible to produce components with varying dimensions and material properties in a continuous manufacturing process. This is particularly relevant for industries that require large-format and customized components, for example in the construction or automotive industries.

In addition to additive manufacturing solutions, KraussMaffei will also be presenting other composite technologies at the trade fair. These include high-pressure RTM for lightweight construction, pultrusion processes for corrosion-resistant profiles and long-fiber injection processes for components with high mechanical strength. Of particular interest to the automotive industry are the carbon rims on display, which were developed in cooperation with the Taiwanese company AIM. These were recognized for their material and manufacturing quality by the JEC Innovation Planets jury and exhibited at the Mobility Planet.

By combining additive manufacturing, composite technologies and automation, KraussMaffei offers system solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into existing production environments. The company’s experts will be available for consultations at the trade fair to discuss possible applications for additive manufacturing and other manufacturing technologies in industrial production processes.
