The 3D printer manufacturer ERYONE has presented a large CoreXY 3D printer with a build space of 400 × 400 × 400 mm on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The printer is currently available on the platform from 1399 US dollars.
The printer is specially designed for professional use in print shops. The CoreXY printer offers a high print accuracy of 0.1 to 0.3 mm and achieves print speeds of up to 500 mm/s. Thanks to the solid metal construction, vibrations are minimized, which has a positive effect on the print quality. The device also supports a wide range of materials, including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU and carbon fiber-reinforced filaments.
To make operation easier, the X400 features automatic 25-point bed leveling and automatic Z-offset calibration. An integrated filament sensor detects material defects and prevents “air pressure”. The magnetic PEI printing plate ensures reliable adhesion and enables easy removal of the finished prints.
With a maximum temperature of 300 °C and a heating power of 70 W, it enables a high melting rate of up to 35 mm³/s. This allows faster extrusion without sacrificing print quality. Compatibility with nozzle diameters from 0.4 to 1.0 mm also offers flexibility in the choice between detail accuracy and printing speed.
Eryone integrates its own production management software for efficient management of multiple printers. This enables the parallel sending of print jobs, centralized control and remote monitoring via a built-in AI camera.
With its closed housing and optional air filtration, the Thinker X400 is also suitable for environments with higher security requirements. Automatic belt tensioning, an optimized Z-axis assembly and an improved power supply should also reduce maintenance costs and downtimes.
Early Bird prices start from 1399 US dollars. The expected retail price is 2499 US dollars. Delivery is planned for April 2025.
