MakerBot and Stratasys Enter Into Sales Partnership

Stratasys and MakerBot announced a sales partnership program that will allow the companies to cross-sell their products. Resellers and distributers will now be able to offer their clients a larger portfolio of 3D printing solutions.

The new sales partnership program had been rolled out in January. Additionally, MakerBot is launching a program to familiarise Stratasys resellers and distributors with their 3D printers and other products, so they are better positioned to consult customers on the full product portfolio.

MakerBot CEO Jonathan Jaglom said: “We believe that both Stratasys and MakerBot can greatly benefit from each other’s strengths – and so can our customers. This collaboration between the two companies gives our customers access to a larger suite of products that is designed to speed up the design process and lower costs. The partnership program also empowers sales partners to better consult their customers on how to make their product development processes more effective and gain a competitive edge.
