March 21, 2016: Update – Syfy to offer further 3D models on Thingiverse
Syfy deepens its partnership with MakerBot and now launches more show-inspired models on Thingiverse. The new models include the time machine from 12 Monkeys as well as an alien skull from Hunters, with more models to be launched this week.
Matthew Chiavelli, SVP, Syfy Digital, said: “In just two months, our partnership with MakerBot has found an enthusiastic and growing audience among the 3D printing community. It’s a natural evolution to extend this relationship to include more of our engaging series.”
The new models, 3D printed by Brooklyn-based service provider Voodoo Manufacturing, debuted at the Silicon Valley Comic Con.
