MakerBot Introduces Thingiverse Groups

MakerBot’s Thingiverse platform with over 500,000 3D models, has recently introduced Thingiverse Groups.

This new feature allows community members to join or create groups around types of designs or specific topics. Once a new group is created, members can start conversations and share Things around this topic with other members. In order to browse exciting groups, users can sort by either “popular” or “newest”.

Thingiverse Groups seem to have been received well by the community, as you can already find groups for a wide variety of topics like 3D printers and software or movie probs, quadcopters and robots.
