Israeli company Massivit will present its new Massivit 5000 3D printer at IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna. The amusement parks and events trade show will take place Sept. 27-29, 2022.
Visitors to the booth will be able to see live demonstrations of the printer, which the manufacturer says is the world’s largest for producing stage sets and figures. The print volume is an impressive 1450 x 1110 x 1800 mm.
Also on display will be the new DIM 400 printing material, which offers high impact resistance and up to 25% faster printing speeds. Massivit says it is ideal for functional prototypes and fixtures.
Gel Dispensing Printing technology allows fast printing of complex, hollow objects suitable for artistic post-processing. According to CEO Erez Zimerman, the printer opens up whole new creative possibilities for event and film producers to create extraordinary experiences.
At the show, visitors will be able to see examples such as a 3-meter shark head for a film premiere. Massivit intends to use the printer to expand its position in large-format 3D printing.
