PostProcess announced the appointment of industry and marketing veteran Melissa Hanson to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. Hanson is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in spearheading disruptive innovation and leading high-performing teams to deliver exceptional value and transformational growth in the manufacturing and technology sectors. Hanson will report directly to Jeff Mize, Chief Executive Officer.
Hanson brings over 17 years of experience in market-driven strategy deployment to PostProcess, including eight years as a senior marketing leader in the additive manufacturing industry. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Product Marketing at Nexa3D, leading its positioning and commercialization strategy for new 3D printing solutions. Prior to that, Hanson was Global Vice President of Marketing for Trimble’s transportation sector and has furthermore held numerous marketing leadership roles during her tenure at Stratasys, where she ultimately led product positioning, content strategy, field marketing, and demand generation for its Americas region.
As the PostProcess CMO, Hanson will lead Global Marketing and Inside Sales. She will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that further accelerate PostProcess’s global reach and position as the leading automated and connected post-printing solution provider in additive manufacturing. Critical to the success of this effort is the key role Hanson will play in collaborations with the company’s growing lineup of strategic partners from software to 3D printer OEMs and material science companies.
