The digital 3D manufacturing platform meviy from MISUMI—an international manufacturer of components for special machinery and automation—is now available in additional European languages. With new versions in French, Spanish, Italian, and Polish, the company is making its AI-driven on-demand manufacturing platform accessible to a broader user base. The goal is to provide engineers with seamless access to digital manufacturing technologies without language barriers while better serving local markets.
Through meviy, users can upload their own CAD models and receive an automated quote, manufacturability analysis, and estimated delivery time within seconds. The platform supports the production of custom CNC, sheet metal, and turned parts, all based on MISUMI’s established quality standards.
“meviy speaks the same language as our customers—both figuratively and literally,” said Tobias Hammann, Business Development Team Leader at MISUMI-meviy. “We want to ensure that engineers can access our solutions quickly, intuitively, and without language barriers. The new language versions are the missing puzzle piece that bridges innovation and user-friendliness.”
In addition to the linguistic expansion, meviy continues to strengthen the link between artificial intelligence and digital manufacturing. Automated process chains enable shorter development cycles, reduced costs, and more efficient use of production capacity. The platform has no minimum order quantity, making it cost-effective for both prototype parts and small-batch production.
“Top quality, low cost, and fast delivery times are at the core of MISUMI’s DNA—and they form the backbone of *meviy*,” said Daisuke Satori, Chief Business Director at MISUMI. “Through AI-driven processes and close collaboration with our customers, we aim to make digital manufacturing in Europe not only simpler but smarter. Via the MISUMI InCAD library, engineers can access practical design examples to support the development of efficient products. We plan to expand this offering further in the future—as part of our commitment to fostering the next generation of engineering talent.”
The platform aims not only to accelerate production workflows but also to support engineering education through hands-on design examples from the MISUMI InCAD library. With its linguistic and technical expansion, meviy is increasingly positioning itself as a central infrastructure for AI-supported, flexible manufacturing solutions across Europe.
“Our goal is not just to speak the same language as our customers, but to be their preferred partner on the journey toward the future of manufacturing,” added Tobias Hammann. “We aim to help stabilize supply chains, promote local innovation, and equip engineers with the tools they need to design faster, more precisely, and more sustainably. For us, people are always at the center—whether it’s an experienced designer or a student creating their very first component.”
