Mosaic Manufacturing has announced that it will discontinue its standalone Palette product line and integrate its multi-material technology into the new Element and Array platforms. The Palette series has been a significant part of Mosaic Manufacturing’s 3D printing landscape since its launch, enabling the simultaneous processing of multiple materials. With this decision, the company aims to consolidate its resources and focus on more comprehensive solutions for industrial applications.
Palette’s technology, known as Palette X, will continue as a material management system in the new platforms. Element and Array combine the functionality of the previous product with enhanced capabilities for production automation and supply chain optimization. According to Mosaic Manufacturing, this move is intended to meet the growing demand for integrated, industrial solutions. The company emphasizes that existing Palette products will continue to be supported. Hardware spare parts, technical support and software updates will remain available. The Canvas control software will continue to be compatible with Palette, so current users need not fear any restrictions. Warranties for existing products will also remain in place.
The new Element and Array platforms are designed to take additive manufacturing to a new level. With extended functions and greater integration, they aim to make production processes more efficient. Mosaic sees this transition as an opportunity to make multi-material technology more widely available while meeting industry requirements. The continuation of Palette’s core technology within the new systems demonstrates Mosaic’s continued focus on innovation to expand the possibilities of 3D printing.
