The Spanish start-up Moso3D from Zaragoza wants to shake up the market for 3D printers. With the launch of its new Moso MT model, the company is focussing on a tool changer technology that enables the simultaneous use of different materials.
Moso3D was founded by a team with many years of experience in the development of 3D printers and in the industrial environment. The company’s focus is on combining innovation and sustainability. From eco-design to manufacturing processes and packaging, Moso3D has optimised every aspect of its products with environmental friendliness in mind.
The flagship Moso MT model features an automatic mould changer for up to four extruders. This technology makes it possible to combine different materials in one printing process. The printer is therefore particularly suitable for demanding industrial applications where multi-material printing is required. The company offers extruders for different filaments. For example, its own extruders for fibre-reinforced filaments or flexible filaments can be combined. Further extruders are in development.
Moso3D relies on a touchscreen interface that guides the user through the entire set-up and printing process. Functions such as automatic levelling and offset calibration further simplify operation. The print volume of the Moso MT is specified as 300 x 300 x 300 mm.
Moso3D produces the printers entirely in-house and focusses on sustainable processes. The company consciously chooses environmentally friendly packaging and transport systems in order to minimise its ecological footprint.
With a view to Europe-wide expansion, Moso3D is actively looking for sales partners in Germany and other European countries. Interested companies can contact Markus Kemper (markus.kemper@ahk.es) directly.
