French distributor Multistation has announced an exclusive partnership with Chinese manufacturer Flashforge. As part of this collaboration, Multistation will handle the distribution of the WaxJet 510 and the newly introduced WaxJet 530 3D printers for the French market. Both systems are tailored for investment casting applications and are aimed primarily at the jewelry industry as well as industrial users working with wax models.
With the WaxJet 530 series, Flashforge emphasizes automation and repeatability. The system operates with three synchronized print heads, offering a print resolution of 2900×2900×1700 DPI and a layer thickness of 15 microns. According to the manufacturer, this combination allows for up to ten times the productivity compared to previous generations. The Z-axis build speed exceeds 5.5 millimeters per hour, enabling faster production of larger batches. The high level of detail also reduces post-processing effort and, according to Flashforge, can lower polishing costs by up to 33 percent.
Another technical feature is the integrated monitoring unit, which allows remote control of the printing process via Wi-Fi and an HD camera. This makes the system well-suited for connected production environments or service providers operating multiple printers in parallel. The combination of precise wax printing technology and digital process control makes the devices particularly attractive for applications in lost-wax casting.
The official presentation of the WaxJet 530 will take place at the Flashforge MJP Distributor Conference on April 15, 2025, in Istanbul. One day later, the Istanbul Jewelry Show will begin, where Multistation and Flashforge will showcase the devices to a broader professional audience for the first time.
