mUVe 3D Introduces DLP Pro and Pro+ 3D Printers

Laser and DLP 3D printer developer mUVe 3D, founded by Dean Piper, has just launched its Pro Line of DLP 3D printers, featuring the most robust design yet. 

The DLP Pro and Pro+ pre-assembled 3D printers follow the affordable mUVe1 kit and just require you to attach the legs and to mount the projector to the aluminium frame. The DLP Pro+ comes with a 1920x 1080 projector, which the Pro version does not include. The Raspberry Pi 2 is pre-loaded with nanoDLP, a control software for DLP based 3D printers.

  • Build Area: 175 x 98,5 x 250 mm
  • All metal construction with easy view UV blocking door
  • adjustable projection positions
  • Projector: included for Pro+, 1920×1080 pixel ViewSonic PJD7820HD or similar model
  • Raspberry Pi 2 loaded with nanoDLP printer software
  • 120-240VAC, 50-60 Hz, approx. 250 W power consumption, US power cord supplied
  • Large FlexVat and build plate available with ULTIPro+ (190 x 270 mm)

While the mUVe DLP Pro is available at $ 1,499 the Pro+ version including the projector comes with a price tag of $ 2,149.
