MyMiniFactory brings on board new Marketing Advisor

London based company MyMiniFactory, the leading global community platform for 3D printable models, has appointed Claire Howard-Jones as a Marketing Advisor to boost their Marketing activity in the lead up to Christmas.

Claire Howard-Jones is advising MyMiniFactory during a period of huge change, whilst it rapidly grows its commercial business. Claire draws on two decades of experience with brands such as eBay, Amazon, Sainsbury’s and British Airways. The move to MyMiniFactory is a natural evolution from the bricks and mortar of Sainsbury’s and the e-commerce market place of Amazon, to the latest retail model of digital distribution.

Howard-Jones said: ‘MyMiniFactory is at a pivotal point in its triple digit year on year growth trajectory. I’m keen to work closely with the independent designer community to help give them a louder voice and to drive sales for their unique and inspiring art. 3D printing is incredible to see and given recent improvements in technology, the results are of superb quality. Many people are using 3D printers and designs to produce items as wide ranging as toys, including new figurines for board games and household items like candle holders and vases. MyMiniFactory gives you access to thousands of designs that can be sent to you immediately online. Then using a 3D printer, which nowadays can cost less than $300, you can create practically anything in various materials, including resin and bronze. I’m keen to
help designers to make their work more accessible to everyday people and to inspire people to use 3D printing.’
