MyMiniFactory launches “SoulCrafted” – initiative against AI-generated 3D content

The 3D model platform MyMiniFactory is drawing a clear line against generative artificial intelligence. In the future, AI-generated 3D models or render images will no longer be permitted on the platform. With its “SoulCrafted” initiative, the company aims to specifically promote human creativity and reduce the economic pressure caused by AI-generated content. The movement sees itself as an alternative to automated mass production of digital designs and aims to bring originality, transparency, and craftsmanship to the forefront.

MyMiniFactory is thus clearly positioning itself at a time when more and more 3D content is being generated by AI systems. Under the motto “Dare to be Human,” SoulCrafted wants to refocus attention on craftsmanship, genuine design, and transparent processes. Similar to an “organic” seal, the SoulCrafted label will stand for authentic, human-created designs in the future.

The approach goes beyond a simple ban. The platform relies on manual checks of new uploads to detect AI-generated content. Users can also report suspicious files themselves. As an incentive for transparent and traceable working methods, MyMiniFactory is planning a verification system that identifies reliable creators with a SoulCrafted badge.

At the same time, a Creator Fund is being launched to provide targeted financial support to human designers. The grants range from $100 to $10,000 and are intended to help develop new projects, games, or proprietary IPs. Emergency assistance for artists in difficult situations is also planned.

The platform justifies this step with the economic pressure that generative AI exerts on creative professionals. When cheap AI models are available en masse, prices and appreciation for genuine craftsmanship decline. MyMiniFactory wants to counteract this trend and create a space where human labor remains economically viable.
