Nanoscribe joins Lab14 Group: Focus on microfabrication and industrial applications

Nanoscribe, a company with long-standing expertise in 3D microfabrication, has announced that it has joined the Lab14 Group. This step marks a strategic development to exploit technological synergies and further strengthen its position in academic and industrial markets. With the Lab14 Group, a network of highly specialized companies in the field of micro- and nanotechnology, Nanoscribe gains access to a dynamic platform that fosters innovation and collaboration.

“We are excited to be part of the Lab14 Group to expand our technological footprint and benefit from the numerous synergies within the group,” says Martin Hermatschweiler, CEO of Nanoscribe. “This strategic advantage gives us a strong competitive position in both academic and industrial markets to better serve the Group’s customers with best-in-class solutions for micro- and nanofabrication,” Hermatschweiler continues.

Two-photon polymerization (2PP), Nanoscribe’s core process, has made a decisive impact on the 3D printing industry in the micro and nano range. Since its foundation more than 15 years ago, the company has developed applications in areas such as micro-optics, photonics, microfluidics, MEMS, bioprinting and biomedical engineering. Joining the Lab14 Group is intended to expand this range and focus it more strongly on industrial applications.

Martin Wynaendts van Resandt, CEO of Lab14, explains: “With Nanoscribe we are not only gaining a globally recognized company, but also a team that shares our values and ideally complements our strategic goals. The addition of Nanoscribe to the Lab14 family strengthens our expertise in 3D printing and opens up new opportunities for all companies in the group. We are now even better positioned to advance our goals together.”

The aim of the collaboration is to develop customized complete solutions for industrial and scientific requirements. With an expanded global service network and new technologies, Nanoscribe will offer even more robust and industrial-grade systems in the future. The Lab14 Group provides an ideal environment to further expand technological excellence and market reach, while Nanoscribe continues to demonstrate its innovative strength.
