NASA Bets On 3D Printing In This Video About Living On Mars

In a new video, the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shows how the first base for astronauts on Mars would look like – 3D Printers included!

To develop a research base on Mars the bright minds from NASA have to overcome some obstacles. The following video shows how the early life on Mars could look like.
Dedicated labs for research and for living will be one part of the base. One of the biggest parts will be a farm where the food for the astronauts will be grown. Of course a 3D printer will support the needs of manufacturing crucial parts for the astronauts.

If the 3D printer will look like the one in the video or more like Made In Space 3D printer, which is used on the ISS, we don´t know yet. But there will surely be some kind of 3D printer on the Mars base!
