The team behind the affordable FDM printer first revealed the NEA at the CES back in January. Now they have just launched an Indiegogo campaign for their NEA 3D printer series, to make it available to the community for a special price, before it hits the market.
What they wanted to create was an affordable, easy-to-use mid-range 3D printer with excellent print quality. Also, NEA is made to last – due to its modular design the printer is upgradeable. Parts like the extruder can simply be removed and replaced in a snap by upgraded future versions.
All the printers are equipped with 4 USB ports and are WIFI enabled. For the software they teamed up with Repetier, but do not limit users to it.
Within the first 24 hours NEA has already passed their funding goal of $ 75,000. Here are the three printers in detail:
NEA PRO Mini
The smallest device of the series is suitable for beginners, someone with limited space or budget.

NEA PRO+
The 3D printer with the largest print volume is suitable for maker spaces, prototypers and educators.
