Nemeton expands 3D printing portfolio with industrial FFF systems from CR-3D

Austrian company Nemeton Innovation GmbH is expanding its range of industrial 3D printing products. Previously specializing in powder-based processes such as selective laser sintering (SLS), the company is now integrating fused filament fabrication (FFF) systems from German manufacturer CR-3D into its portfolio. The aim is to achieve broader technological coverage for industrial applications with different material and process requirements.

CR-3D develops its systems entirely in-house at its Cham site in Bavaria. This includes mechanics, electronics – including its own mainboard platform – as well as its own slicing software called SliCR-3D. The devices have a modular design, which enables customer-specific configurations. CR-3D also relies on independence when it comes to material supply: the company’s own filament production offers coordinated industrial qualities, including special materials such as ESD-safe, flame-retardant or high-temperature-resistant compounds.

A key focus is on process reliability and reproducibility, which is particularly important in an industrial environment. Nemeton also emphasizes the high data security of the systems. Cloud connections are completely dispensed with and all print data remains local. This gives companies complete control over their sensitive production data.

By combining SLS and FFF processes, Nemeton is now addressing a wider range of applications – from functional prototypes to small series made from engineering plastics. The partnership with CR-3D should make it possible to offer not only individual components, but also complete, scalable manufacturing systems. The focus here is on efficiency, process integration and seamless adaptation to industrial requirements.

With the expanded offering, Nemeton is positioning itself more strongly as a full-service provider in professional 3D printing. The move towards filament-based technologies not only complements the existing expertise, but also creates new application possibilities for existing and future customers.
