Tyson Build Plates has introduced a new series of printing plates for 3D printers. The plates offer optimized adhesion, eliminating the need for additional adhesives. They are also designed for print bed temperatures of up to 230 °C, which facilitates the use of advanced filaments. According to the company, the plates are compatible with all common filament types – from standard plastics to high-performance aerospace thermoplastics.
A key feature of the new sheets is their special coating, which ensures longer durability. According to Tyson, they last significantly longer than conventional printing plates. Another optional feature is the ability to incorporate individual engravings such as logos or markings for specific printing applications directly into the surface. These are engraved by laser and remain permanent. The plates are available in various sizes.
The printing plates are currently being produced by Bambu Lab specifically for 3D printers. In addition, there are limited series in the standard sizes 120 mm, 180 mm, 250 mm and 300 mm to ensure wider compatibility with other printer models.
The Tyson Build Plates are available worldwide via retailers such as Amazon and the company’s own webshop.
