New Matter Donates MOD-t 3D Printers Worth $ 200,000 to US School

Manufacturer of the affordable MOD-t 3D printer, New Matter, has given out 450 3D printers along with supplies to schools in 45 states in the US.

New Matter was founded in 2014 and backed by leading venture capital firms. The easy-to-use MOD-t was created in a mission to bring 3D printing to every home, school and office. As the device operates quietly, is WIFI enabled and auto-calibrates, it is ideal for the classroom and library-fiendly.

“We strongly believe that 3D printing will cultivate a lifelong love of STEM subjects in students, and we are incredibly proud to participate in that experience,” said Steve Schell, CEO of New Matter. “3D design fosters creativity in young learners and the MOD-t is the tool that brings students’ imaginations to life. We will continue to work with educators to ensure that they are getting all the resources they need to integrate the MOD-t into the classroom.”
