Meshy.ai, a service specializing in generative 3D modeling, has introduced Meshy 6, a new version of its AI model. The platform enables the automatic creation of 3D models from text descriptions or 2D images. The newly released update is designed to significantly improve the quality and geometric accuracy of the generated objects.
According to Meshy.ai, the preview version “Meshy 6 Preview” delivers visibly finer details and greater precision in model geometry. Character and organic models benefit from more realistic proportions, anatomically consistent shapes, and more natural poses. Hard surfaces such as machine or vehicle parts are rendered with clearer edges and a clean structure. This makes the new model more suitable for applications in product visualization, 3D printing, or game development, where precise geometries are crucial.
Tests have shown that Meshy 6 reproduces fine structures such as folds or textures with greater accuracy. The models appear more complete and can be exported more easily for further processing steps. Of particular interest is the more consistent topology of the meshes, which often had to be manually reworked in older versions.
Meshy.ai offers the service in several pricing models. The free version includes 100 credits per month and up to ten downloads. However, models created with the new Meshy 6 algorithm can only be downloaded by paying users.
