Noztek introduces new 3D printing system for continuous production

British manufacturer Noztek has introduced the Infinity Print Conveyor, a new print bed system for robot-assisted 3D printing. The system enables continuous printing on a conveyor belt construction and is aimed in particular at industrial users who want to produce large quantities or particularly long components automatically.

The system combines a heated printing surface with an automatic removal mechanism. Once a print job has been completed, the printing surface rotates half a turn so that finished components are automatically removed and the next printing surface is made available. This automation reduces manual intervention and increases efficiency.

A special feature is the ability to print at a 45-degree angle. This means that the conveyor belt moves one degree further after each printed layer, allowing long components to be produced that are only limited by the size of the working area. To ensure stability during printing, support structures can be attached to one side of the belt.

Technically, Noztek relies on a stable construction with an aluminum frame and a 5 mm thick steel plate as a base. Six independently mounted 750 watt heating elements ensure an even temperature distribution on the printing surface. The feed is provided by a powerful stepper motor, which can be integrated directly into the robot’s control system via Ethernet/IP.

With a size of 1.5 × 1 meter, the system is particularly suitable for industrial use.
