The start-up nPower Technologies, founded by experts in the field of manufacturing applications, has announced its official market launch. The company aims to overcome the challenges of additive manufacturing, particularly in the planning and management of 3D printing processes. The nPower Technologies platform is aimed at manufacturers in the medical, aerospace, defense and transportation industries, but also offers potential for other sectors such as PCB manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication.
“nPower Technologies derived its name from the growing complexity of scheduling additive machines, commonly referred to as 3D printers, in a divergent manufacturing environment” said David Bennett, Chief Product Officer. “While scheduling divergent manufacturing with one or two printers and multiple post-print operations can be done with spreadsheets, scheduling additional additive machines becomes a geometric problem of the nth degree.”
The technology developed by nPower offers a platform-independent solution for resource management and real-time planning in production. Particularly noteworthy is the nPower Scheduler, a graphical scheduler that can be seamlessly integrated into existing ERP systems. This software enables users to visualize and control production processes on the store floor with unprecedented ease.
“At nPower Technologies, we believe in the power of efficient scheduling to drive manufacturing success,” said CEO Kevin O’Keefe. “Our ERP-agnostic platform is designed to help companies streamline their production processes by providing real-time scheduling and resource management.”
The company has already secured strategic partnerships in the technology industry and is poised for rapid growth. nPower Technologies aims to become an indispensable tool for companies involved in additive manufacturing looking to increase the efficiency of their production processes.
