NYC Marathon Runners Receive 3D Printed Mini-Statue of Themselves

Runners registered for this year’s New York City Marathon can sign up to receive a 3D printed miniature statue in runner-pose of themselves.

Organised by Asics and New York Road Runners (NYRR), runners can register with their Facebook account on minimarathoner.com and are then asked to upload four pictures with a resolution of 8 Megapixel or higher. Since the 3D printed mini-marathoners are limited, a first come, first serve principle was set into place.
